We took an epic road trip up to the border of England and Scotland to visit as many castles and ruins as possible. Staying at a number of guest houses and BnBs along the way, we've charted a route for you to follow on your own journey, complete with a stop at castles featured in the Harry Potter movies with some fantastic food and drinks along the way including local small batch gin distilleries.
